Today I’m going to help you increase your budget incrementally.
A lot of times people come to us and say, hey, I want to increase increase our budget by 50%.
Go ahead and implement it. And we do not.
When you implement and add 50% budget to your campaigns, a couple of things happen.
And the first thing is that it skyrockets your average CPC and that also increases your average cost per conversion.
Here’s a better way to increase your budget over a couple of weeks instead of just all at once on the same day.
Unless there’s a real reason why you want to spend 50% more today, this is a better way to do it right here.
So let’s say you’re spending $1,000 a day and you want to increase your budget to one $500 the first week.
Today you increase it by 15%. We’re recommending not to increase your budgets by more than 15% and wait one week.
So now you’ve got $1,150 a day budget for a week. This allows the system to relearn slowly with a small incremental budget increase.
Then a week later, you increase it by another 15%. So now your budget’s $1,322.
And at the end of that second week, you can increase it again by 50% 15% and you will be at your 50% increase from your original daily budget of $1,000.
And now you’re at $1,520. This stair step of budget increase by 15% at a time helps the system not go into learning mode.
It just helps it learn slowly over a couple of week period of time and it will be less disruptive to your metrics and your campaign’s performance.
