Google Ads 2024 Design: Search Terms

The new Google Ads interface is being phased in on August 30, 2024.

It is very different. It is confusing to find a lot of things that were easy to find in the previous interface.

I am Todd Nevins. I am the founder of CLICKPlacement. We are a Google partner and I am going to go through a couple of different aspects in this video and future videos on where to find the things that are most important to manage your Google Ads campaigns.

Today’s video I’m going to go through where to find a search terms.

It was so easy before and now it’s hidden. But let’s find them.

Right now I’m at the campaign level and I’ve opened up the campaigns tab here to find campaigns, ad groups, ads and experiments and then down here under audiences, keywords and content.

They title keywords actually as search keywords. These are not search terms and it is confusing.

To find your search terms you’ve got to go up into the insights and reports and search terms.

You can look at your search terms from all campaigns.

You can drill into a specific campaign and you can also go into different ad groups.

You can also find your search terms by going into a keyword and clicking search terms right here.

You can always go back until August 30. You can always go back to the previous design right here.

Click on appearance and use previous design for this session and that’s it.
