A lot of these principles apply to many different industries, but we’re going to dive into it as if we are running a cosmetic surgery clinic and running Google Ads.

You may have specialties within the cosmetic surgery area like liposuction or rhinoplasty.

Certainly you’re competing against other clinics that may specialize in those areas as well.

But we’re going to dive into the other companies that are also adverse advertising on Google and we are going to start first by just simply doing a search.

And then it starts with the organic and the Google maps down below it.

So we’re first, beauty land plastic surgery.

Reading through this doctor Oliver Simmons BBL and liposuction excess skin.

So this ad is speaking more towards body related procedures versus face.

So I jumped over to the Google Ads Transparency center, which is ads transparency dot google.com and I keyed in Beautyland plastic surgery and I started going through the way you key it in is that you change this.

Right now it is just by country. So it’s the United States anytime.

All platforms, maps, play, shopping, search and YouTube.

And then the name, the URL of the competitor that

I saw advertising on Google Ads and it shows all of the different search ads here that they are running. But this is interesting. Miami’s top plastic surgeons. So we’ve determined that even though I’m in Austin and I did a search for Austin, Texas beautyland health and I looked this up, they’re actually in Miami.

So they are not a viable, viable competitor.

So you go down to the next one, dermatology. This is more of a dermatologist versus a cosmetic surgery clinic.

So also not a head to head viable competitor if you are a cosmetic surgeon.

And here, silhouette plastic surgery free consultations also in Miami.

And down here, aesthetic Austin aesthetic spa in Austin, Texas.

Finally, another local one.

So if you want to look up some of these others, there’s beautyland and pure dermatology, which is the third add down, I’m sorry, second add down, they are advertising more of face photo, facials, ipls, those types of surgeries.

So those are also not head to head if you’re, if you’re a cosmetic surgeon, something else you can do in this, in this transparency tool is change this.

This goes back to 2018.

You can change this to the last 30 days, which I highly recommend.

But let’s go a little bit deeper.

Top mommy makeover surgeons in Austin, Texas. Now we’re getting more specific to a procedure that is only performed in a cosmetic surgery clinic.

So number one, synergy plastic surgery. The most prestigious surgeons mommy makeover surgeon. Their ad speaks to mommy makeover.

So you add that one into ads transparency.

Definitely change it to the last 30 days because you want to know who is advertising now, not who was advertising six years ago.

And here are the ads that they are running and they are extensive, amazing.

Dallas, Austin, Chicago, New York and Atlanta. So that is a viable competitor.

So you can then click on each individual ad and get a little bit more information.

This was shown today. So it’s a text format and you can click through and see the different formats as well.

So this will help you determine what your competition is doing.

So you can craft your ad copy and your, your text ads to speak to exactly what you offer.

And so you are showcasing exactly your clinic and the services that you offer to compete against your top competitors in Google Ads.
