Today I’m going to help you with your ad schedule on your campaign and also stop your ads from showing after 09:00 p.m.
We have tested this extensively and the quality of leads that come in after 09:00 p.m.
Are poor for obvious reasons.
People are distracted, they’re watching TV, they’re drunk, whatever it is, they send in a form for more information.
By the next morning, they’ve completely forgotten about it.
So we are going to stop serving your ads at 09:00 p.m. And this is how you do it.
First you want to make sure when you set up your account, one of the questions that you were asked is what is your time zone?
It defaults to Pacific Time, so hopefully you changed it to your current time zone.
To find that, go to Tools and then Preferences. And it’s right here.
This account my account is set to central time zone.
So to go in and change the ad schedule, you click on your campaign.
You click down here to add schedule.
This one is set to run 24/7, so you click this pencil.
This particular campaign is targeting business people for business to business type sales.
So I only want it to run Monday through Friday. If you want yours to run seven days a week, you just choose Saturday through I’m sorry, you choose all days.
I want to do Monday through Friday.
The best time to serve your ads is 06:00 A.m. to 09:00 P.m.
And it is on military time afternoon. So you go to 21, and after you choose 21 and click Save, it actually then shows you the correct time.
This account now is set up to run 06:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
And it also shows you there in the graph as well.
That’s how you set up your ad schedule and that’s how you make sure your ads do not show to people after 09:00 p.m. in your time zone.
