I’m going to blow through this in one take. All right, here we go.
We are at the campaign level and run a date range for the last 90 days.
This is assuming you have been running Google Ads for at least 90 days and you’ve got accurate conversion tracking in here.
You go over to the left and you click Search keywords and here we are.
This is a lead generation client and in the last 90 days in this particular campaign, it has spent $18,460, resulted in 284 conversions at an average cost per conversion of $64.
I want to see first how many keywords are in here.
We’re looking at 180 keywords. And here is the quick hack. Add a filter, put cost and you want.
We are looking for any keyword that has spent one penny or more but without any conversion.
So you do a less than same 0.01 and apply and boom. $1471 in cost 0 conversions.
So when you scroll down to the very bottom, that’s 48 keywords in this campaign has spent money at least a penny and resulted in zero conversions.
$1,471. 18,460 total in this campaign. That’s 8%.
You can pause these keywords immediately and for the next 90 days you’ve just saved that 8%. And that is it.
