In one of my previous videos, I helped you load GA4 Analytics onto your website through Tag Manager.
Today I’m going to to make sure that your new GA4 property is connected to your Google Ads account.
Just because your Google Ads account is linked to your Universal Analytics property, doesn’t mean that it is linked to your GA4 property.
And this is how you link the two together.
When you log into your GA4 account, you click the admin wheel, the bottom left and in the center property column scroll down to Google Ads links.
You click the link button here, choose Google Ads accounts on the right and I know that my account ends in 1124.
And here it is. You click this check box to the left. Go over here to the upper right.
Click Confirm. Next. Configure settings.
Auto tagging. Absolutely. Auto tagging needs to be checked.
Click Next.
Now submit. Just takes a couple of seconds.
Link created. Now your GA4 property in analytics is successfully linked to your Google Ads account.
This makes sure when you are creating events and goals in your new GA4 account, you can then import those events and goals from GA4 directly into Google Ads.
